Obituary of Linda Lou Grimes

Heaven has gained another Angel. Linda L. Grimes, 68, of Morgantown, went to be with her beloved husband & son, Larry Sr. & Larry Jr., on Thursday, April 17, 2014 Linda was born in Morgantown on January 25, 1946, the daughter of the late Theodore & Garnet Austin. She lived in Paulsboro, NJ for 40 years, where she made many wonderful friends before she retired and moved back to Morgantown. Linda was an avid bingo player, and loved nothing more than spending time with her two grandsons, Eddie & Bubba. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Grimes (Dave); 2 grandsons: Edward B. Johnson and Brian Johnson of Morgantown; 4 sisters: Nancy (Bob) Heinze, Lilly (Mark) Matthew, Marion (Jim) Keener all of Morgantown, and Lois Tenney of Masontown; 3 brothers: Wilbert "Doc" Austin of Fort Wayne, IN, and Junior Austin of Davesville, CT, and Terry Austin of Morgantown. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Larry A. Grimes Sr.; her son, Larry A. Grimes Jr.; a sister, Judith Ann; and 3 brothers: Woody, Charles, and Tommy. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Tuesday, April 22nd from 10 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM with her nephew officiating. Following the service and in accordance with Linda's wishes, cremation services will be provided.
