Obituary of Sarah Faleschini

Sarah Romano Faleschini, 87, lifelong resident of Westover and formerly of Madison Nursing and Rehab passed away Friday, April 18, 2014 at Monongalia General Hospital. She was born in Morgantown on October 2, 1926, the daughter of the late Joseph Romano and Josephine (Larato) Romano. Sarah was the office manager for G. C. Murphy, High Street, Morgantown and retired after 40 years of service. She is survived by her sister, Mary Virginia Romano Baniak; a brother-in-law Joseph Baniak of Morgantown, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Luigi "Lou" Faleschini; two brothers, Samuel and John Romano; and two sisters, Rose Urso and Angeline Peluso. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, PO Box 4204, Star City, WV 26504-4204.
