Johnny Mills, 85, of Morgantown, died Saturday, March 21, 2015 at his residence. He was born January 1, 1930 in Logan County, WV, a son of the late Okey and Maxine Chaffins Mills. Mr. Mills served in the United States Army in the 82nd Airborne and retired as a machine operator. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, playing cards, and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Jean Mills of Morgantown; daughter, Linda Moles; grandchildren, Brandi Linn, Sean Mills, Johnny Miller, Michelle Williams, and Saprina Miller; nine great grandchildren and seven siblings. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by sons, Michael Haun and Roger Mills; one granddaughter, Melissa Miller; and four siblings. Friends and family will be received at the Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Friday, March 27th from 11 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1 PM with Pastor Ed Beatty officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover. Full military funeral rites will be conducted at the graveside. Send condolences online at www.hastingsfuneralhome.com
