Adelaide K. Azzoli Carline Quaresma, age 105, died peacefully on March 26, 2011 at home in Morgantown, WV with her family by her side. Adie was born February 11, 1906 in Philadelphia, PA. Her parents were Francesco Azzoli and Angelina Pebrella Azzoli. For the past thirty years she has lived with her son and his wife, Dr. John L. Carline and Dibby in Morgantown, WV.Adelaide, Addie to her friends, was preceded in death by her late husbands Pietro Carlini and Urban Quaresma, her (14) brothers and sisters, as well as grandson-in-law Pastor Eddie Hughes. Surviving her, in addition to her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. John and Dibby Carline are a daughter, Adelaide K. Webb and husband, Robert of Pensacola, FL, and a stepson, Donald Quaresma, of San Francisco, CA. She also leaves nine grandchildren, Joann Hughes, Jacqueline and David Dial, Tonya and Charles Gilmore, John and Allison Carline all of Morgantown, WV, Gina and Bruce Johnson of West Palm Beach, FL, Tony and Dana Carline of Falling Waters, WV, Diane Kerr and Douglas Kerr of Reno, NV, and Steven Kerr of Houma, LA. She was blessed to have had and loved twenty-one great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Addie had a long, healthy, and happy life and has completed her journey to be with the Lord. A special thank you to Hospice, and many others who have touched Addie. Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown is providing cremation services to the family. Plans for a Celebration of Life are incomplete. Inurnment will be at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Morgantown, WV.
