Alene Marie Lloyd

Alene Marie Lloyd, 96, of Westover, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at her home. She was born September 20, 1921 in Star City, WV, a daughter of the late David and Nellie (Davis) Anderson. Alene worked her entire career at Beaumont Glass Factory as a Grinder and Floor Manager. She was an avid Bingo and card player, and had a passion for cooking and spending time with her family. Alene is survived by son, Vernon D. Lloyd; grandchildren, Jeff and David Blehschmidt, Elutea Blum, Heather McKinley, Eric Lloyd and Colleen Lewis; and three great grandchildren, Sydney and Alexis Blum and Henry Lloyd. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon J. Lloyd; her brothers, Wayne, Bill, David and Ralph Anderson; sister, Eva McKinney; son, James Lloyd; daughter, Betty Miller. In keeping with her wishes, cremation services have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home, Omega Crematory.
