Alice Willis

Alice G. Willis, 87, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at Sundale Nursing Home.Alice was born in Little Falls, WV on August 15, 1923, the daughter of the late Charles and Cybil Gabbert.She had been a medical secretary for various doctors in Morgantown. She is survived by her sons Charles Richard Willis and wife Martha of VA, David Willis and wife, Deborah of Morgantown, her grandchildren Thomas Willis, Jonathon Willis, Virginia Schrout and husband Frank, Beth Crouser and husband, Wesley and Lance Hamilton and two sisters Mary Fuller of VA and Nancy Stock of FL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Willis in 2004.Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 3-5pm on Saturday, June 18. Graveside services will be held at 11am on Monday, June 20, 2011, at the WV National Cemetery in Pruntytown, WV.
