Alicia Shaheed

Alicia Dawn Shaheed, 18, of 1216 Sabraton Ave., Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2011,as a result of an auto accident in Tampa, FL. Alicia was born in Seminole, FL on January 2, 1993, the daughter of Cheryl Plum Shaheed of Morgantown and Shareef Shaheed of St. Petersburg, FL.She was a recent graduate of MHS and was enrolled to start classes at WVU this fall. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter and sister and was loved by all. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister Shontae Shaheed of Morgantown, her grandparents Ray and Ellen Plum of Port St. Lucie, FL, she also leaves behind several aunts, uncles and cousins.Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 4-8pm on Friday, July 15, and from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 12noon on Saturday, July 16, with Rev. Dr. John E. Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Nicholson Chapel Cemetery.
