Angelina Tomei Farrell

Angelina A. Tomei Farrell, 95, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday morning, December 10, 2013. She was born in Morgantown on July 25, 1918, the daughter of the late Joseph Tomei and the late Sarah (Girimonti) Tomei. Survivors three daughters, Sarah Courtney, Mark Park and Josephine Burnett and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Farrell in 1973; two sons, Frank Farrell, Jr. and Johnny Farrell, a daughter, Joann Hamilton; two brothers and one sister. She was a member of the former St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church and currently St. John University Parish. She loved playing bingo and being with her family. Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Thursday, Dec. 12th from 5:00 - 6:30 PM, at which time the Holy Rosary will be recited to conclude the visitation. Mrs. Farrell will lay in repose at St. John University Parish, University Ave., Morgantown on Friday, December 13th from 9:30 AM until the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM with Father Jeremiah Lange, OSB, and Father Vincent Joseph con-celebrating the Mass. She will be laid to rest next to her husband and sons at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
