Arthur Deuesenberry

Arthur Deuesenberry, 80, of Morgantown, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Sundale Nursing Home. He was born on October 12, 1939, a son of the late Saint George Wayne Deuesenberry and Sarah Lillian (Graham) Deuesenberry. Arthur worked as an accountant at Sterling Faucet for 20 years and Mylan Pharmaceuticals for a total of 27 years before retiring. He enjoyed gardening and visiting Blackwater Falls with his wife throughout the years. His children and grandchildren considered him a great and very caring Dad. Arthur is survived by his loving wife, Darlene; daughters, Carol Groves and husband, Donnie, and Karen Woods; son, Terry Deuesenberry, and wife, Jenny; grandchildren, Chris Deuesenberry and wife, Keshia, Melissa Woods, Justin Jones and girlfriend, Kelly Kulp, and Sarah Woods; great grandchildren, Jaylen and Sydney Deuesenberry, Matthew, Payton and Landon Woods; brothers, Don Deuesenberry and wife, Karen, and Tom Duesenberry and his wife, Edys; sisters, Connie Eaglen, Grance Bartug and husband, Dick, and Dollie Barker and husband, Dan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother George "Sugar" Deuesenberry. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, on Friday, July 10, 2020, from 3 PM until the time of service at 6 PM with Pastor Scott Whetzel officiating. Inurnment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery at a later date. Although guests are invited to come visit, it is required, per the Governor and CDC pandemic guidelines, that all visitors wear face masks and practice social distancing.
