Barbara Jean Dalton

Barbara J. Dalton, 65, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, September 21, 2026 at her home with her family by her side. She was born April 12, 1961 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Hamilton Hile and Mildred (Woody) Fletcher.

She was a homemaker that loved cooking, baking, and camping. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed going to church, reading her bible, listening to gospel music and always enjoyed when Pastor Donna Dalton would come to visit.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Kevin Dalton; daughters, Hailey Wright (Kenny) and Corrina Dalton (fiancé, James George); grandson, David Sites; and fur grandbaby, Reese. She is also survived by siblings, Linda King, Sandy Nicholson (Jeff), and Patty Liming; and brothers and sister in-law, Roxie Donaldson (Butch) and Roland Dalton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Gary King and sisters-in-law, Karen Sue May and Kelly Dalton.

The family would like to thank the WVU Radiology IR Dept and WVU Hospice for their love and support.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Friday, September 25th from 4-8 PM and again on Saturday, September 26th from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Donna Dalton officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
