Barbara Stevens

Barbara Jean Stevens, 67, of Morgantown, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Barbara was born on September 16, 1952, the daughter of the late Carl Edward Murray and the late Wanda Oudia Hamrick Murray McDonald. Barbara was a loving mother who took care of not only her own, but anyone in need. Although she was so nurturing, those she cared for knew she was not afraid to be stern if they got out of line. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Kathy Burns and her husband Don; sons, Bryan Stevens and his wife Brandi, and Mark Stevens and his wife Tammy; grandchildren: Andrew, Annamarie, Gunner, Bryan, Berna, Hayden, Brenna, Mathias, and Micalynn; great-grandchildren: Lillian, Andrew II, Brandon, Junuh, Briar, Jackson, and Dakota; sister, Carolyn; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Stevens. According to the family's wishes cremation services are being provided by Hastings Funeral Home/Omega Crematory and a private family celebration will be held at a later date.
