Beulah Beavers

Beulah Elberta Teter Beavers, 91, of Morgantown passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was born October 6, 1924 in Lewis County, WV daughter of the late Hoy C. Teter and Ruth Bond Teter. She worked for Pickett’s Cleaners as a delivery driver. She also worked as a clerk for Hunters Grocery and worked for Davis and Lynch Glass. She was working at Econo Mart in Fairmont when she retired. She enjoyed working outdoors and helped out with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Ron Beavers and wife Donna of Morgantown; granddaughter, Wendy Bender and companion Donnie Kearns of Morgantown, grandson, Matt Beavers and wife Kelli of Reedsville; great-grandchildren, Madison and Miranda Bender and Gage Beavers ; brother, Harold Teter and wife Patty of Morgantown. Also she is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Walter Beavers, sister, Hazel Yeager and brother, Francis Teter and four infant brothers. The family would like to thank all the caregivers at Home Away from Home for the excellent loving care they gave Beulah. We are very thankful for them. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown Tuesday, August 9th from 3-8 p.m. Visitation will continue in the funeral home on Wednesday, August 10th from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Michael J.
