Bryan Morris

Bryan David Morris, 40, of Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 24, 2019, at his residence. He was born in Wheeling, WV, on June 27, 1979, the son of David Wayne Morris and Vanessa Sue (Barrett) Morris of Wheeling. In addition to his parents, Bryan is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Poling) Morris; children, Brayden (7) and Dylan (4); sister, Erica Dalek and husband, Matt, of Wheeling; great aunt Dolores Morris of Wheeling; aunt Judy and uncle David Kociban of Wheeling; father and mother-in-law Michael and LuAnne Poling of Philippi, brothers-in-law, Dwayne Poling of Belington and Josh Poling of Norfolk; niece Jenna Poling, and nephews Shayne Poling, Evan and Lucas Dalek, and Jazper Poling; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends. Bryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Antoinette Barrett and his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Marjorie Morris. Bryan was a graduate of West Virginia University and a Construction Manager for EQT. Bryan loved to fish, golf, shoot sporting clays, and spend time with his 2 boys, family, and friends. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St. Morgantown, WV on Sunday, Dec. 1st from 2-6 p.m. and again on Monday, Dec. 2nd from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Brother Garry Clem officiating.
