Candy Forman

Candy Jo Forman, 59, of, Cassville, WV, passed away Friday, May 13, 2016, with her family by her side, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Candy was born May 30, 1956, in Waynesburg, PA to Lloyd and Willa Jo Cooper. She attended University High School where she met and fell in love with her husband of 40 years, Byron Conner Forman. They were married September 18, 1976, Together they were blessed with three children who she stayed at home with and devoted her life to. She prided herself on being a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, of which she exceeded all three. Candy’s passion was her family; her grandchildren were her biggest joy. She enjoyed going to Myrtle Beach every 4th of July with all of her family, watching cooking shows, and spending her days on her front porch watching her grandchildren play in her yard. She is survived by her husband, Byron Forman, her children Chad Forman, Nicky Geisel and husband Derek, Ashley Forman, and Devin Pollard. She is also survived by five (babies) grandchildren Hayden and Blayk Forman, Sophia and Colby Geisel, Daveion Pollard, and one grandchild on the way, her brother Vince Cooper and wife Corinna Cooper whom she loved deeply, her mother in law, Joan Forman, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Candy is preceded in death by her father and mother: Lloyd and Willa Job Cooper, father in law, Brinley Forman, and grandparents. Candy Jo was loved so much and will be greatly missed. God has truly received a special angel. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown on Monday, May 16 from 3-5 pm. and 7-9 pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, May 17, from 10am until the time of the service at 11am with Rev. Ray Frankhouser.
