Carrie May Johnson Wallace

Carrie Wallace, 94, of Morgantown, died Tuesday, May 26th at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born January 3, 1926 in Charleston, WV, a daughter of Elsie Jackson. Mrs. Wallace formerly worked as a clerk in the retail industry and in her free time, enjoyed fishing. She is survived by her son, Cary Johnson of Morgantown; a niece and nephew, James Early and Josephea Early Hamilton; and great nieces, Rose Pleasant, Alice Turpin, and Sally Burkes. In addition to her mother, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Henry J. Wallace; son, Frazier A. Johnson; and sister, Rosezina Willis. In keeping with her wishes, cremation services have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home.
