Charles Herron

Charles "The Cherokee" Herron, 74, of Willey St., Morgantown, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012, at his residence.Charles was born in Morgantown on July 7, 1938, the son of the late Leroy Duffy and Velma Virginia (Wilson) Herron.He was the owner of Cherokee Trucking and also operated a crane and heavy machine equipment. Charlie was an avid horseman and showed horses in his younger years in the Tri-County area. He is survived by his fiancée and caregiver of 8 years, Joyce Braham and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Linn Herron and sister, Ruth Simmons. Arrangments are still incomplete
