Charles Uphold

Charles Henry Uphold, 78, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at his home. He was born April 28, 1941 in Monongalia County, a son of the late Milbert and Opal (Howell) Uphold. Mr. Uphold was employed for 46 years at Davis and Lynch Glass. He is survived by children, Joseph Tomago and his wife Martha, Virginia Mills and husband Bob, and Deborah Smith; 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Michaud and Bonnie Loughery. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise (Bonivich) Uphold and brothers, Wilbert Uphold and Robert Uphold. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV on Sunday, February 16th from 3-7 and on Monday, February 17th from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 11 am with Kathleen Kennedy, Chaplain of WV Caring officiating.
