Clifford Ray Thewlis
Clifford Ray Thewlis, 68, of Maidsville, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026. He was born January 28, 1958 in Morgantown, a son of the late Robert and Catherine (Fisher) Thewlis.
He was a graduate of Morgantown High School and worked as a vehicle mechanic all of his life.
He is survived by his brother, Robert (Elizabeth) Thewlis, nephews, Eric (Tracy) Thewlis and Charles (Emily) Thewlis; great nieces, Lilly, Zoey, Hazel, and Haley Thewlis; great nephew, Alex Thewlis; his close friend, Lyle Matthews; and his special dog, Honey.
In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to a charity of your choice.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Wednesday, February 11th from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM with Pastor Stacy Chrise-Tritt officiating. Interment will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
