Listen to Obituary

Connie Lee Colebank, a beloved mother, grandmother, family member, and woman of unwavering faith, peacefully passed away on September 7, 2026, just four days before her 80th birthday.

Born on September 11, 1946, Connie lived a life rooted deeply in her love for God and her family. Her faith was not simply something she believed—it was something she carried with her every day and shared with those around her. She believed in the power of prayer, the goodness of God, and the promise of eternal life.

Connie had a heart that cared deeply for others. She loved her family fiercely and treasured the time she spent with those she loved. She had a way of leaving an impression on the hearts of the people around her, and the lessons, love, prayers, and memories she gave will continue to live on through her family for generations to come.

Above all, Connie loved the Lord. Her faith carried her through both the joys and hardships of life, and she never stopped believing in God's grace and promises. While her family mourns the tremendous loss of her earthly presence, they find comfort in knowing that Connie is no longer suffering and has been welcomed home to Heaven.

As Connie entered into eternal rest, she was reunited with those who went before her and whom she loved dearly: her mother, Clara; her father, Lee; her sons, Brian and Thomas; and her beloved husband, Norman. Though their absence left an ache in her heart during her earthly life, her family finds comfort imagining the joy of their reunion in Heaven.

The Bible tells us, “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” — 2 Corinthians 5:8

Connie's earthly journey has come to an end, but her eternal journey has just begun. She is now in the presence of the Lord, surrounded once again by the loved ones she missed, free from pain and sorrow.

Her family takes comfort in knowing that this is not a final goodbye, but only a temporary farewell until they meet again.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Until we meet again in Heaven, Connie. Rest peacefully. You are home.
