Craig Taylor Arthurs, Jr was born on June 22, 1966, in Steubenville, Ohio to Sherry McEwuen and Craig T. Arthurs Sr., and died on October 1, 2025, in Morgantown, W.V., after a long battle with various medical conditions.
He moved to Morgantown as a young boy and called it home. Taylor, as he was known in later years, was first and foremost a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and grandfather.
Taylor graduated from Morgantown High, and later joined the Army to serve his country before becoming a long-haul truck driver, a job that suited him well and became a fulfilling career. He eventually transitioned to driving for Uber due to his illnesses.
Taylor was a lifelong Star Trek fan through and through, and let me tell you if you were incorrect on this subject he would let you know, then he’d give you the correct information! He enjoyed online gaming which was something he particularly excelled at. Taylor also enjoyed the time he spent with family and friends, often gathered around swapping stories and easy conversation.
Taylors is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Khristian and Kat Arthurs; his mother and stepfather, Sherry and Richard McEwuen; a stepmother, Sue Arthurs; sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca and Frank Arnath; and his brother, Raymond Braheny.
He is also survived by his niece, Harley Clayton and her husband, Nathaniel; nephew, Matthew Arnath and his wife, Vanessa; two grandchildren he was blessed with, Daniel and Rylee-Rae Arthurs; as well as five great nieces, Sara, Melissa, Charlotte, Amelia and Frankie-Lynn Hecht; and one great nephew, Craig Arnath.
He was preceded in death by Craig T. Arthurs, Sr and Sara Jean Hecht.
Taylor, you were loved and cherished very much. You will be missed tremendously and our world is a lesser place without you. We love you and Godspeed.
