David D. Nestor

David D. Nestor, 77, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born July 3, 1948 in Morgantown, a son of the late Delbert Paul and Lucinda (Miller) Nestor.

David was a coal miner and in his free time he enjoyed guns, deer hunting, fishing, collecting coins and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Janet M. Nestor; children, David A. Nestor (Carol), Gary L. Nestor (Donna), and Linda S. Carmody (Robert); grandchildren, Robert D. Carmody (Hayden), Riley Nestor, Brady Nestor; grandchildren, David Krushansky and Mathew Krushansky; great granddaughter, Ellie Carmody; sister, Thelma Allum; sister-in-law, Donna Nestor; and brother-in-law, Steven Gillum and his companion Vicki.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a brother, Delbert P. "Junior" Nestor and brother-in-law, David Allum.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Tuesday, July 15th from 5-8 PM. A private family service will take place at a later time with interment to take place at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
