Deborah Marie Koster

Deborah Marie Koster, 58, of Bridgeport, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014, at Preston Memorial Hospital of Kingwood. She was born in Morgantown on April 12, 1956, the daughter of Ernest Gilbert John and Lois Marie (Strickler) John. Deborah graduated from Rivesville High School in 1974. She worked for the Monongalia County Board of Education at Suncrest Junior High from 1974-1996. She is survived by her siblings; Cynthia Freed and husband Timothy; Jennifer Crisemon and husband Eric; E. David John and wife Cheryl and Melanie Dakon and husband Joseph; nieces, Julia Dakon, Cayce Dakon, Melanie Losh and husband Reuben, Laura Gatto and husband Adrian and Amber McDougal and husband Paul; nephews, T. J. Freed and wife Rachael and Beau Dakon; great-nephew, Ian Losh. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Wednesday, August 6 from 6-8p.m. A private graveside service will be held at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 379 Smithtown Road, Morgantown on Saturday, August 9 at 2:00 p.m. with Dennis Thomas officiating.
