Dewayne Snider

Dewayne Allen "Wayne" Snider, 49, of Morgantown, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family and friends.He was born on April 23, 1962, in Morgantown, WV, the son of Leo Snider and Lucille (Hart) Snider.In addition to his parents he is survived by his companion Donna Morris two sons Jason Smith of Fairmont, WV and Seth Huggins of Morgantown WV three brothers, Denver Snider and wife Melissa, Richard Snider and fiancé Stephanie Edgell, Brian Snider and wife Dodie all of Morgantown one sister Marsha Bissett and husband David of Reedsville, WV two nieces Andrea Snider and Kira Nicholson and three nephews Cody Bissett, Garrett Bissett, and Kyle Snider.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Henry Oâ and Mary Eunice Hart and paternal grandparents, Leo Joy Snider, Sr. and Nellie Snider Davis.Wayne enjoyed fixing, detailing, and selling automobiles and campers. He also took great pleasure in going to church, reading his bible, and quoting bible scriptures.He was Pentecostal by faith. He attended Hope Church in Morgantown and Mt. Morris Gospel Tabernacle.Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Saturday, September 3 from 2-7 PM, and again on Sunday, September 4 from 12PM until the time of the funeral at 1 PM with Pastor Fred Tomlinson and Pastor Allen Donham officiating.
