Dixie Blaney

Dixie Blaney, 77, of the Kingwood Pike, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019. She was born January 22, 1942, in Morgantown, the daughter of the late Richard and Hazel Dalton. Dixie is survived by her daughter, Ginger Wheeler, and companion, Jim Celli; two granddaughters, Angela Cress and spouse, Mikie, and Amanda Murray and spouse, Anthony; five great-grandchildren, Levi, Lucas, and Layne Murray, and Paislee and Colton Cress. In addition to her parents, Dixie is preceded in death by her husband, William "Dobie" Blaney; a brother, Rex "John" Dalton; and three brothers-in-law, Junior and James Blaney and Dave Campbell. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home/Omega Crematory. A private family committal service will take place at a later time.
