Eleanor Newlon

Eleanor Louise Newlin, 84, of Morgantown, passed away August 30, 2012, at Sundale Nursing Home. She was born in Preston County on June 20, 1928, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Grace Miller. Eleanor made many people happy by making and selling the Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy dolls. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Newlin and her brother Kenneth Miller, Jr.She is survived by some special friends, Cindy Flagg and Daniel and Elizabeth Poe. Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown from 9am until the time of the funeral service at 11am with Pastor Bennie Moran officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Baltimore, MD, where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband.
