Eleanor Weaver

Eleanor R. Weaver, 88, of Morgantown, passed away at home Sunday, June 4th surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 8, 1928, a daughter of the late Eugene and Ruth Bailey Rinehart. She attended the Cheat Lake Community Church in Morgantown and over the years in her free time she enjoyed golfing, crafts, and playing Bridge. She was a lifelong resident of West Virginia, a state she loved for its natural beauty and friendly people. She is survived by her children, Pat Weaver and his wife Sharon Bukrim of Morgantown and Mike Weaver and his wife Marenda of Madison, CT.; grandchildren, Jason Weaver of Morgantown and Jim and Jeb Weaver, both of Madison, CT. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, James Eugene Weaver and her infant daughter, Amy Weaver. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Friday, June 9th from 4-8 PM. Visitation will continue at the Cheat Lake Community Church, 527 Tyrone Rd., Morgantown, on Saturday, June 10th from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM with Pastor John Sommers officiating. Interment will follow at Nicholson Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cheat Lake Community Church, 527 Tyrone Rd., Morgantown, WV 26508 to be used towards the Benevolence Fund.
