Elizabeth Lucille Shawhan

Elizabeth Lucille Shawhan, 75, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, August 27th at her residence. She was born September 6, 1941 in Long Beach, CA, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Gulas Kacinec. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Howard Shawhan in January of 2014. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Morgantown. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #11 in Clarksburg and the Mon County Community Outreach Service. She is survived by her children, Cynthia L. Morris and her husband Carl and Stephanie Byerly and her husband Jeff; grandchildren, Elizabeth Porchiran and her husband Chris, Jon Tyler Porter, Clayton and Noah Porter, Annabelle Byerly, Reagan Byerly, and Jacob Byerly; and great granddaughter, Reese Porchiran. She is also survived by siblings, John Kacinec and Marilyn Wolford; brother in law, Thomas Migrock; and sister in law, Margaret Haney. In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Migrock. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Wednesday, August 30th from 1 to 8 pm and again on Thursday, August 31st from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 11 am with Pastor Terry Hagedorn officiating.
