Ellanora Eunice Isner

Ellanora Eunice Mayhorn Powell Isner, 92, of Morgantown, left her temporary home here on earth on October 4, 2018, to be with her heavenly Father surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Masontown, WV, on April 6, 1926, the daughter of the late Leroy and Georgia Mayhorn and was the last remaining member of her immediate family.

She was a member of Riverside Apostolic Church and loved reading or having someone read the scripture to her routinely.

Ellanora had a beautiful heart inside and out. She had a great sense of humor and will be sadly missed. She is forever branded in our hearts. Until we meet again, you will be our angel watcher, over us here on earth.

Ellanora leaves behind a family whom she dearly loved; Carolyn Hunt and spouse, Jay, of Core, Marilyn Hayes of Lincoln, Nebraska, David Powell & Susie of Bridgeport, Paul Powell and Janet of Morgantown, Melvin Powell and Gemma of Chicago, IL; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Donald Franklin Powell and Raymond Isner, as well as siblings whom she has now joined along with children and grandchildren in her permanent home.

Family and friends will be received at Nicholson Chapel Church, 1326 Summer School Road, Morgantown, on Sunday, October 7th from 6-8 pm and at Nicholson Chapel Church on Monday, October 8th from 12 pm noon until the time of service at 1 pm. Interment will follow at Nicholson Cemetery.
