Emaline N. Christopher, 97, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, October 20th at her residence. She was born January 7, 1920 in Wilton, Kentucky, a daughter of the late William Thomas and Charlotte Ann Walters Burnett. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She was young at heart with a positive personality and a contagious sense of humor. Her family always came first. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping at Gabe's and on QVC and was known for her homemade greeting cards, decorating and gardening. She also enjoyed being on Facebook and embraced modern technology. She is survived by her children, Glenn E. White and his wife Martha of Wheeling, Gary D. White of Morgantown, Kathy D. Stumbo and her husband Gary of Kitts Hill, OH, Christy C. Graham and her husband Scott of Morgantown and Chris A. Christopher of Morgantown; grandchildren, Jacob White, Alexander White, Seth White, Lauren Graham, Stephen White, Zoe Christopher, Andrew Stumbo, and Emily Stumbo; and great grandchildren, Destin White, Noah White, and Eden White. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 1st husband, Edgar A. White, 2nd husband, Darwin "Perry" D. Christopher; granddaughter, Brooke Ann White; siblings, Maggie J. Wyrick, Minnie Gorman, Eula Taylor, Otilla Ramsey, and William T. Burnett. In keeping with her wishes, cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home. A private family committal service will take place at Pisgah Cemetery at a later date. The family asks that memorial donations be made to the Calvary Baptist Church, 519 Burroughs Street, Morgantown, WV 26505. Online condolences may be made at www.hastingsfuneralhome.com.
