Ernest Demastus

Ernest C. Demastus, 81, of Garfield Heights, OH, passed away October 27, 2017 at his residence. He is the son of the late Ernest Lee and Lulu Groves Demastus. He was a United States Marine Corp veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. Men wanted to be like him, women wanted to be with him. He was a lover of westerns, home cooked meals, crosswords, the love of his family, Baily’s, and the good book. Not necessarily in that order. Friends will be received Friday, November 3, 2017, at Hastings Funeral Home, at 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV from 10am to 12pm. Services will be held at 12:00pm at Hastings Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Summers Cemetery on Halleck Road. Hastings Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
