Evelyn Edith Lemley

Evelyn E. Lemley, 94, of Morgantown, passed away May 25, 2017 at Pt. Manor Assisted Living in Pt. Marion, PA. She was born in, Morgantown on March 21, 1923, a daughter of the late Earl G. and Clara Fisher. Evelyn attended Sabraton Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and loved making things, especially crocheting. She is survived by her sister Catherine and husband, Robert Thewlis, Sr., and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence Wolfe, and James Lemley; brothers: Clifford C. and Robert E. Fisher; sisters: Agnes E. Fisher, and Clara (Dorothy) Rossi. Friends and family will be received on Sunday, May 28, at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, at 1PM until the time of funeral service at 3PM with Pastor Scott Whetzel officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Cavalry Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Evelyn’s memory to, Sabraton Baptist Church, 1641 Sabraton Ave., Morgantown, WV 26505.
