Franklin Earl "Frank" Carey Jr., 60, of Morgantown, passed away March 5, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born in Morgantown on November 29, 1958, the son of the late Franklin Earl Carey Sr. and Lawana Ruth (Joliffe) Carey. Frank was an amazing mechanic who loved to work on anything with a motor. He was a great Dad and would do anything for anyone that needed help. He also loved to drink beer and laugh and was always the life of the party. He will be truly missed and loved always! He is survived by two daughters, Christen Carey and companion, Allen Myers, and Jeanie Anderson and companion, Jesse Celli. He is also survived by his sisters, Ruthanne Ayers and husband Robert, Lisa Grim and husband John; step-brothers: James and wife, Emmy, Steven, David, and Richard; nieces and nephews: Dude and Monica, Patricia and Pat, Bobbi Jo and Darrel, Amy and Eric, Cristal and Jason, Tina and Daniel; and many great-nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his life-long companion, Norma Anderson; his sister, Peggy Stafford; brother-in-law, Victor Stafford; and Bubby. Family and friends will gather at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., on Friday March 8th from 5 p.m. till 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made straight to the family at www.givingcompassion.care
