Frank Perilli

Frank Martin Perilli, 96, of Morgantown, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at his residence. He was born in Cascade, West Virginia, on November 6, 1922, the son of the late Pietro "Pete" Antonio Perilli and Rosa Bucci. He served as Corporal in the U.S. Army during World War II. He went on to become the owner and operator of Gene's Beer Garden for many years. Prior to that, he was a bookkeeper for Zeller Glass in Morgantown. He was married to Elaine Cotgageorge for 55 years. Frank is survived by his daughter, Janet Stone, and husband, David, of Morgantown; son, Michael Perilli, of Florida; grandchild, David Stone II, of Morgantown; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine; and five siblings: August, Gene, Betty, Katy, and Joe. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, on Sunday, November 18th from 1-5 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Star City, on Monday, November 19th from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Father John V. DiBacco as Celebrant. Interment will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
