Franklin Thomas Pauley

Franklin Thomas “Frank” Pauley, 65, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 16, 2025.

Born in Morgantown on February 25, 1960, Frank was the beloved son of the late Kenneth Estell Pauley and Wavey (Quick) Pauley. He built a life here, dedicating many years of service to West Virginia University and Patton Building Services of Morgantown before his retirement.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Sherry Del (Pugh) Pauley, who passed on December 5, 2011. He leaves behind his loving sister, Cynthia A. Cole, of Thomson, Georgia. Frank is also survived by niece Michelle Morris and husband Rick of Morgantown; nephew Franklin (Frankie) Kenneth Cole of Thomson, Georgia; and grand-nephews Cody Edgell, Justin Murray, and Tyler Murray of Morgantown.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Tuesday, July 1, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., with Chaplain Craig Falkenstine officiating. Following the service, Frank will be laid to rest at East Oak Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, friends may make a donation to the Morgantown Christian and Missionary Alliance Church Benevolent Fund in Frank’s honor at 308 Elmhurst St., Morgantown, WV 26505.
