Frederic David Mccormick

Frederic David McCormick, 59, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, September 16th at his residence. He was born April 27, 1958 in Fairmont, a son of the late Homer and Virginia Crebar McCormick. Frederic was a graduate from Fairmont State University with a degree in Business Administration and was also a real estate agent in Morgantown. He retired from the WVU Department of Transportation and Parking. Frederic leaves behind the love of his life and wife of 39 years, Tara McCormick; two sons, Jeremy McCormick and Devin McCormick and his wife Stephanie of Morgantown; special son, Patrick Wright of Morgantown; siblings, Pam Morris of Fairmont and Sam McCormick of Morgantown; two granddaughters, Riley McCormick of Chambersburg, PA and Reagan McCormick of Morgantown; one niece, Rachel King of Fairmont; two nephews, Ken and Michael Morris of Fairmont; beloved brother in law, Brian Timmons of New York; beloved sisters in law, Erin and Muffin Zmuda Timmons; and dear friend, Diane Oldaker of Fairmont. He also leaves behind his best friend and four legged companion, Carlos. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Tuesday, September 19th from 4-8 PM.
