Garnet Belle Lee

Garnet Belle Lee {Cesaro} died peacefully on Oct. 18, 2018, in Morgantown, W.Va., at the age of 91. Garnet was born Jan. 25, 1927, in Adrian, W.Va., to the late Fragomeni Cesaro and Lilly Claypole Cesaro. Garnet worked most of her life in food service and retired from West Virginia University. She spent many of her retired years working selflessly as an in-home health-care provider. Garnet is survived by her son, Delmas R. Lee Sr., and his wife, Carol Lee, of Morgantown. Survivors also include her granddaughter, Dianna Sue Sanders, and husband, Barry Sanders; grandson, Delmas R. Lee Jr., and wife, Buffie Lee; and great-grandsons J.T. Webster, Jordan Webster and Benjamin Lee, all of Morgantown. She was also survived by two-step grandchildren: Lisa Hutzler and husband, Tracy Hutzler; and Becky Henry and husband, Jeff Henry, along with their son, Jared. Garnet was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph J. Lee, and her five siblings: brothers Arnold Cesaro, Orlando Cesaro and Phillip H. Cesaro, and sisters Vernia Lantz and Donis Poling. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home on Sunday, Oct. 21, from 2 to 5 p.m. and Monday, Oct. 22, from 10 until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating.
