Gary Gene Kidder

Gary Gene Kidder, 68, of Morgantown, WV, passed away on September 7, 2020 at his home. Gary was born on July 23, 1952 in Morgantown, WV. He was a truck driver by trade. He loved music, playing his twelve-string guitar, writing his own songs, as well as playing many favorites. On July 23, 1994 he married his best friend, Paula Thomas (Taylor) whom he spent 24 years with, but she was unexpectedly taken from him on October 13, 2018. Gary became an amazing “father” on that day. He will be loved and missed by his three “sons”, Joshua Taylor, Jeremiah Taylor (Jessica), and the youngest Johnathan Taylor (Stephan). Gary is also survived by three sisters, Linda Hargis (John), Trudy Sylvester (Tim), and Lorna Odekirk (Tom). He adored his grandchildren Lillian, Owen, Parker, and Abigail, as well as many other relatives and in-laws. At Gary’s request, no services will be held. Cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home. A private interment service will be held at a later date.
