George Edward Garletts, Sr.

George Edward Garletts, Sr., 83, of Morgantown, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at his residence. He was born in Morgantown on July 8, 1938, son of the late Ernest and Rose (Sodomick) Garletts. He went to Morgantown High School and retired after working many years as a mining mechanic. George is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth (Figiel) Garletts; three children, George Edward Garletts, Jr., and spouse, Linda, Angela Garletts, and Michelle E. Hancock and spouse, Emerson; and eight grandchildren: Chad Kisner, Logan Garletts, Ryann Smith, Edward Garletts, Casey Garletts, Zackquill Hancock, Seth Garletts; and great grandchild, Tegan Garletts.
