George Moser

George L. Moser, 83, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at Point Manor Personal Care Home, Pt. Marion, PA. George was born in Morgantown, on December 21, 1935, the son of the late Ludwig and Frances Keiner Moser. George was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church. He was the owner of Moser Auto Sales used car lot for over 59 years in Sabraton and was a member of Local #152 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union for 42 years. George is survived by his loving wife, Sondra S. (Loya) Moser; daughter, Cynthia A. Evans and spouse, Bob, and grandson Cory Evans; Son, Bart G. Moser and spouse, Devra, and granddaughters, Miranda and Mahalie Moser; Son, Mark A. Moser, and spouse, Lisa; grandson, Cody and granddaughter, Anna Moser. Brother, Joseph Moser and spouse Marianne, and sister, Melinda Balint. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Konchesky, and brother-in-law, Frank Balint. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Sunday, May 12, 2019, from 4-6 p.m. The evening visitation will conclude with a Scriptural Wake Service at 5:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 19 Jo Glen Drive, Morgantown, on Monday, May 13th at 11 a.m. with Father Biju V. DeVassy as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
