Gerald Edward Lewis

Gerald E. Lewis, 62, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at his residence. He was born September 7, 1952 in Elkins, WV, a son of the late Rose Lewis. He attended Morgantown High School and was currently employed at West Virginia University. He was well known as a referee for various sports on all levels throughout the entire state of West Virginia. He is survived by his siblings, Richard, Clarence, Duane, Jacqueline, Charles, Michael, and Jennifer Lewis; his nephew that he raised, Derrick Edwards; and several other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown is in charge of arrangements.
