Gerald Blaine Marshall

Gerald Blaine Marshall, Sr., 83, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, May 30, 2022. He was born April 17, 1939 in Morgantown, a son of the late Blaine and Genevieve (Smith) Marshall.

Mr. Marshall retired from Blacksville #2 Coal Mines.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Teresia (Gray) Marshall; children, Gerald Marshall, Jr. and his wife Michelle, Eloise Martin and her fiancé Paul Johnson, Richard Marshall and his wife Melissa, and Polly Minarchik and her husband Joe; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; and sisters, Barbara Cool and her husband Larry and Donna Savage.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Lolly Allen; granddaughter, Amanda Marshall.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Saturday, June 4th from 4-7 PM and on Sunday, June 5th from 1 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM with Pastor A.C. Mann officiating. Interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery.
