Geraldine Blackshire Bishoff, 92, of Pueblo, CO and formerly of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday morning, May 11, 2011 at Sangre De Cristo Hospice & Palliative Care of Pueblo, CO.Geraldine was born in Morgantown on February 4, 1919, a daughter of the late Charles Harley Blackshire and the late Lena Rivers Wilson Blackshire.Survivors include her daughter, Toni Lee Bishoff Bailey of Pueblo, CO four grandchildren, James E. Bailey & wife Dianne of Centennial, CO, Dana Lynn Beauvais & husband Bryan of Pueblo West, CO, Amy Rogers Prunty & husband Steven of Morgantown, WV and Erin Rogers Sanford & husband Eric of Louisville, KY seven great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and a sister, Maxine Ludden of Buford, SC.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald B. âBudâ Bishoff a daughter, Bari Lynn Bishoff Bell and a sister-in-law, Madeline Bishoff Hall.Geraldine worked at Dupont during World War II, where she worked on heavy water for the atomic bomb.She loved to sing and was a soloist with the First Baptist Church Choir and sang with West Virginia University ensembles. She also studied under Gustav Lehmann for many years as well.At the familyâs request, there will be no funeral home visitation. However, family and friends are invited to attend a graveside committal service on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 11 AM in Mt.
