Harmon Steve Eavenson

Harmon Steve Eavenson, 71, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016, at his home. He was born in Cambridge, England on July 25, 1944, the son of the late Lee Harmon “Henny” Eavenson and Josephine Elcoat Eavenson. He retired from the Morgantown Utility Board, MUB, after 37 years of service as a meter reader. Harmon enjoyed working on old cars. He is survived by his children, Deryl “Hank” (Dorothy) Eavenson, Jeff (Chasity) Eavenson and Shari Eavenson and her companion Leroy Danser; grandchildren, Jay and Brandon Eavenson of MA; and Zack and Dustin Eavenson. Also he is survived by two great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandson, Nick Eavenson. In keeping with his wishes, cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home, Omega Crematory. A graveside service will be held at East Oak Grove Cemetery, Wednesday, May 25th at 2:00 P.M
