Inis Grace Mitchell

Inis G. Nottingham Mitchell, 83, of Mount Morris, PA, passed peacefully in her home, on April 26, 2023. She was born December 10, 1939, in Hinton, WV to the late Russell and Clana Nottingham. She married Paul W. Mitchell March 7, 1959.

Inis enjoyed crafting, coloring, word puzzles, flowers, butterflies, cooking, baking, sitting in her swing on the porch, occasional shopping trips, Elvis and various tv shows. She was a Loving quiet, gentle, sweet woman with the most precious heart. Spending time with her family gave her the greatest joy. She loved being a Mom, Grandma and GG.

Inis was preceded in death by her infant son Dale Mitchell, her sister Bettie Stuart, her brother Austin Nottingham and her parents.

Inis is survived by her Husband Paul, children Deborah (Rick) Bosley of Mount Morris, PA, Susan Mitchell of Point Marion, PA, Timothy (Marla) Mitchell of Mount Morris, PA and Dwight (Sandy) Mitchell of Charles Town, WV.

Her grandchildren April (Leland) Swank, Nikole Loughrey, Melissa Garber, David Garber, Patricia Garber, George Mayle, Danielle Mayle, Timmy Mitchell and Shirlyn (Alex) Bolyard. Her great grandchildren Noah Bosley, Nathan Bosley, Juliet Jacobs, Terrance Young, Princeton Harvey, Amelia Harvey, Austin Mayle, Grayson Mayle, Bentley Strosnider, Khloe Strosnider, Ryvaiah Adams, and Ezekiel Adams.Her sisters Glendora (Ralph) Stapleton, Virginia Nottingham, Wanda Erazo, Viola Wilkins and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV 26505 on Monday, May 1, from 1:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 pm with pastor Willard Rowan officiating. In accordance with Inis's wishes cremation services will are being provided by Hastings Funeral Home.
