Iretta Hornick

Iretta Jean Hornick, 85, previously of Zelienople PA, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Waynesburg Health & Rehab Center. She was born on Nov 4, 1934 in Morgantown, WV. She is the daughter of the late Page and Lourdine (Walker) Lewis. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Bernard Hornick in November 2004. Her brother, David Lewis and sister, Wilma Rye also preceded her in death. Iretta is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Rodgers; grandson, John Blakeley, who brought the biggest smile to her face; niece, Verna Helmick (husband, Bill) whom she made her home at onset of illness and several other nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Nicholson Chapel Church on Summers School Road on Friday, February 7, from 12 Noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 pm. with Minister Dan Ousley officiating.
