Isaac Raymond Lind, born March 9, 1994, in Ranson, West Virginia, passed away on February 4, 2026. Isaac is survived by his mother, Mary Elizabeth Lind, and his father, Raymond Robert Lind, Jr. both of Middleway, WV. He leaves behind his beloved children, Emiliegh and Oliver Lind.
He is lovingly remembered by his siblings: Sophia Lind of Black Mountain, NC; Jacob Lind of Spring Mills, WV; and Lilly Lind of Middleway, WV. Isaac is also survived by his partner, Donnie Walker of Bunker Hill, WV, along with a large extended family and many friends.
True to the meaning of his name - Isaac, "laughing boy"—he lived his life bringing joy wherever he went.
Mechanically inclined from a young age, Isaac was always building or fixing things. He was famous for his wild, motorized creations. Isaac kept the neighborhood entertained— and occasionally exasperated-with the revving of engines, the rumble of bass from his speakers, and his mechanical antics.
He was a gifted musician. While the drums were his instrument of choice, he loved surprising people with his harmonica or didgeridoo.
As a teenager, Isaac was an active member of Middleway Climbers 4-H club. Some of his favorite memories were from 4-H camps, county and state.
How How! Isaac found joy in good music, friends, and a meal from Tudor's Biscuit World.
A funeral mass will be held at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Dr, Charles Town, WV on Saturday, February 28th beginning at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Alex Paul officiating. Following the Mass, the family will host a visitation at White Church, 112 East St. in Middleway.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in care of The Lind Family to Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV 26505.
Isaac's legacy lives on in the smiles he inspired, the engines he revved, the music he played, and every story that begins with, "Remember when Isaac...
