Isolina Hazel Gasper, 99, of Morgantown, passed away at Point Manor Personal Care Home on Monday, May 25, 2020. She was born August 6, 1920, in Harding, West Virginia, daughter of the late Domenick DeProspero and Josephine Mastrogiuseppe. Hazel was employed for a total of 30 years with Charlotte’s Dance Studio. She married Charles Peter Gasper on April 15, 1944. She was known to her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, as well as great grandmother. Hazel is survived by one son, Rick Gasper, and his wife, Bonnie; granddaughter, Sheila Clovis; great granddaughter, Skyler Johnson; and siblings, Lena Angotti and Gloria Barkaszi. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews including Cecilia Palmer and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Peter Gasper; daughter, Charlotte Teets, son-in-law, Marvin Teets; siblings Carmella LaGatta and husband, Ralph, Eulanda Smith and husband, Charles, John DeProspero and wife, Sandy; Ike DeProspero and wife, Ruth; Joseph Angotti and James Barkaszi; and extended family, Vince Palmer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Hazel’s memory to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1 Guthrie Lane, Morgantown, WV 26508; Amedysis Hospice Care, 2183 McClellandtown Road, Masontown, PA 15461 or Point Marion Personal Care Home, 300 Union Street, Pt. Marion, PA 15474. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, private family services will be conducted with interment to follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
