James Allen Biser

James "Al" Biser passed away peacefully on April 30th, after a courageous battle with esophagus cancer. He was born January 17, 1948 in Morgantown, the son of the late Lloyd & Rosalie Biser. Al was a 1966 graduate of Morgantown High School and attended Fairmont State. Al was a union painter (Local 804) for over 35 years. He also held the position of recording secretary for many years. He is survived by his wife, Danna of 22 years; son, Jason DeBerry & fiancé, Ashley; stepson, Paul & wife, Missy, of Delaware and stepson, Matthew & Jodie, of Pennsylvania. He is survived by grandchildren Alex, Lyndsey, Ivy, Kyrstin, and Ryker and also, a nephew, Eric, of Morgantown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Ed and Jeff. The family would like to thank the staff of Amedisys Hospice Care, Dr. Arthur's & Dr. Johnson & Staff, and Zelda Stein Cancer Center. Also, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts & prayers. At Al's request, cremation will be handled by Hastings Funeral Home.
