James F. “Jim” Bucklew, 90, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016, at his home He was born May 29, 1926 in Morgantown; a son of late Galvin Lawrence and Lovel Bolyard Bucklew. Immediately after his MHS graduation he enlisted in the U. S. Armed Forces. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Navy, Pacific Theater. Jim was a member of the Woodland United Methodist Church. He was a former employee for the Bureau of Mines which later became The Department of Energy on Collins Ferry Road, where he had 32 years of service until his retirement in 1982. Jim was a member of V. F. W. Post #548, AF & AM Union Lodge #4 and 14th degree Scottish Rite Freemason. He is survived by his son, James L. Bucklew and wife Debby of Morgantown; grandson, Brandon A. Bucklew and wife Jennifer; granddaughter Abigail Perrelli and Great grand-children, Clea and Isaiah Perrelli; niece, Barbara Joan Lindsey; great-nieces and nephews, Becky Lindsey, Teresa Altemus and husband John, Patty Lindsey-Wolpert and husband Todd and, Shannen Jenkins and Andy Lindsey; 2 great-great-nieces and 3 great-great-nephews; 1 great-great-great niece and 3 great-great-great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Virginia Bucklew, 3 brothers and 1 sister. A family graveside service will be held at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Westover with Pastor Audria L.
