James Hamilton

James Michael "Mike" Hamilton, 59, of Morgantown, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at his residence. Mike was born in Morgantown, on January 22, 1960, the son of James Gilbert Hamilton and Naomi Ruth (Strosnider) Hamilton. Mike graduated from Morgantown High School in 1978. He was a jack-of-all-trades and worked at many different places including WVU, Beaumont Glass, Gentile Glass, Mon Power & most currently, Davis & Lynch. Mike loved nothing more than sitting on his porch enjoying a cold Bud Light. He had a fun-loving spirit and will be missed by all that knew him. In addition to his parents, Mike is survived by sisters, Ginny Hamilton Stahley and husband, Andy, and Joyce Hamilton Kridle and husband, Mike; grandmother, Gertrude Hamilton Gentile; nieces: Randi Johnson, Amanda Stahley, and Danielle Stahley; nephew, Andrew Kridle; four great-nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs, Jackson & Pepper. In accordance with Mike's wishes, no services will be held and cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home/Omega Crematory.
